Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 11, 2026

Welcome to the True North Blinds Privacy Policy. If you’re actually reading this, you’re either a lawyer, a competitor, or someone who is very, very bored. Regardless, we appreciate your dedication to the fine print.

1. What We Collect (And Why)

We aren’t private investigators; we just want to make sure your blinds fit.

  • The Basics: We collect your name, phone number, and email. We also need your address, because it’s surprisingly hard to install blinds if we don’t know where you live.
  • The Project Stuff: We ask if you’re moving or remodeling so we don’t show up with “Man-Cave” aluminum blinds when you were actually dreaming of motorized rollers for a nursery.
  • The Digital Breadcrumbs: Our website uses cookies. Not the chocolate chip kind, unfortunately. These are tiny files that tell us things like “Someone in Waconia spent 10 minutes looking at Honeycomb shades.” This helps us realize we should probably keep selling Honeycomb shades.

2. What We DO With Your Info

We use your data for three things:

  1. To call you back.
  2. To send you a quote.
  3. To find your house.

We also use it to show you ads on Google or Facebook. If you see an ad for True North Blinds after visiting this site, don’t worry—we aren’t watching you through your webcam. It’s just “remarketing,” which is the fancy way of saying our website remembered you liked us.

3. What We DON’T Do With Your Info

We will never sell your data to some random company that wants to call you about your car’s extended warranty. We value our reputation in Delano too much for that. Your info stays with us and the essential tools we use to run the business (like our quote software and our email).

4. Your “Get Out of Jail Free” Card

If you want us to delete your info, just ask. If you want to know what info we have on you, just ask. We’re pretty friendly people.

5. Security

Our website has an SSL certificate (the little padlock in the bar up there). That means the info you send through our forms is encrypted. We take protecting your data as seriously as we take measuring, meaning we don’t want anything to be off.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we do things, we’ll update this page. If you’re the type of person who reads this regularly, you’ll be the first to know.

Questions? If you’ve made it this far, you deserve a trophy. Or at least a free consultation.
